In 2017, I further designed our concept’s physical and digital parts.
I spent two weeks sketching, rendering the pump, and wire-framing the app in Marvel.

I wanted design language for Zoe (not her baby!) that said:
clean, safe, healthy, professional, sturdy, and calming.

I explored designs by hand and in Blender.

UX

The app

Through XX's app, Zoe, our user, needs to...
1. control her pump itself.
2. understand her storage and production patterns of milk.
3. share her milk storage information with other caretakers.

Then I wire-framed by hand how Zoe might complete the three tasks:

Lastly, I created two iterations of a
"looks-like" prototype in Sketch for user testing.
Here are the main three screens:

"Fewer Parts? Hallelujah!"

Moms were excited that this wrap-around concept would:

-make pumping comfortable
-make setup and clean-up easier
-free their hands and attention during pumping
